Aaron Perez, LCSW

Aaron Perez is a licensed clinical social worker with Northeast Georgia Physicians Group. He is one of the behavioral health specialists who supports the Bariatric Weight Loss Center, located in Gainesville.

Using a patient-centered and strengths-based approach, Aaron helps patients identify their unique strengths and resources and create practical ways to reach their goals. Problems often accumulate over time across multiple dimensions of our lives: medical, psychological, behavioral, social, environmental and spiritual. Using research-supported treatment models such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Aaron can guide patients in looking past overwhelming barriers and tailor an adaptable treatment plan according to their unique needs.
