Addison Parris, MD

Addison Parris, MD, is an infectious disease specialist with Northeast Georgia Physicians Group, providing comprehensive care for patients with a wide spectrum of infectious conditions. He earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and completed his fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Maimonides Medical Center, where he gained advanced training in the diagnosis and treatment of complex infections.

Dr. Parris manages both routine and highly specialized infectious diseases, including bloodstream infections, respiratory and gastrointestinal infections, HIV and other chronic viral illnesses, as well as infections related to surgery or implanted medical devices. He also plays an important role in antimicrobial stewardship and infection prevention, helping ensure the appropriate use of antibiotics and reducing the risk of resistant infections.

Board certified in both Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease, Dr. Parris is dedicated to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care, with a focus on accurate diagnosis, effective treatment, and long-term health outcomes.
