Ann has almost three decades of pediatric mental health counseling experience. Her career started as a volunteer in a children’s shelter, then as house parent for children in foster care. She worked with The Department of Family and Children’s Services, was involved with a group practice and maintained a private practice for 15 years. She joined NGPG in 2022 and serves a wide variety of communities. In addition to earning her licensure as a Clinical Social Worker, Ann is a Registered Play Therapist through the Association of Play Therapy.
Among the variety of therapies used to treat young people and their families, Ann utilizes Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy and Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Therapy. She is passionate, attentive, observant and dedicated to helping children and their families heal and be the best they can be.
Ann has over 850 continuing education hours earned throughout her career.
