Christopher Soika, MD

Christopher Soika, MD, is a board‑certified general surgeon with NGPG Surgical Associates. He provides comprehensive surgical care with a focus on common and advanced general surgery procedures tailored to the needs of community-based patients.

Dr. Soika earned his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and completed his general surgery residency training at Naval Hospital Portsmouth. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery.

His clinical interests include general surgery, minimally invasive procedures, endoscopy and colonoscopy, wound care, and selected elective procedures such as hernia repair, vasectomy, circumcision, panniculectomy, abdominoplasty, and breast reduction. His experience also includes trauma surgery, hyperbaric medicine, and image‑guided procedures.

Prior to joining NGPG, Dr. Soika served as a general surgeon in both military and civilian practice settings, including leadership roles overseeing surgical services. His background reflects a long-standing commitment to patient-centered care, clinical excellence, and continuous learning to meet the evolving needs of the communities he serves.
