He is careful to inform of risks and benefits and does not feel the need to "sell surgery" over more conservative or non intrusive medical modalities.He is friendly, warm and conveys concern and the patient's best interests at all times. You.are lucky to have the talented and skillful surgeon/healer on your team.

This appointment was a second opinion appointment after having surgery on my right knee. Due to concerns that I was experiencing and questioning my previous care professional I chose to obtain a second opinion on my progress or lack there of and some of my concerns of treatment following surgery. I was tremendously put at ease with Dr. Scales and his demeanor in his examination and evaluation and his insight to my possible issues. Extremely pleasant, knowledgeable and put me at ease with the path forward. I have a return appointment and have discontinued my relationship with my previous surgeon and his facility no comparison in the Informative time spent and the level of confidence that I now have going forward with Dr. Scales resolving my surgical issues!!

My experience with Dr. Scales was good. I felt like I got a good explanation of my situation.

Dr. Scales had de hewed my records, asked pertinent questions and provided a very thorough examination and diagnosis of ache bursitis after taking X-rays and performing an aspiration of the bursa sac followed by an injection of corticosteroids. He prescribed PT follow up appropriate to the problem and offering hope for hope for recovery and less pain. Very impressed .
