About the Provider

Dr. Rodriguez has spent most of his life in Georgia, and is proud to call it home. He values the experience of growing up with a Southern family on one side and a Cuban family on the other. He learned the importance of hard work and perseverance from both and strives to follow their example — while also learning to cook their recipes. After graduating from the University of Georgia and Trinity School of Medicine, he completed his family medicine residency at Wellstar Kennestone.

When he’s not taking care of patients, Dr. Rodriguez enjoys spending time with his wife, their two children, and their dog, Lucy. He also enjoys traveling, going on runs, and reading a good book.

Doctor Erik Rodriguez (Hot rod) adjust quickly to my wacky fun loving personality. He was professional with a bit of humor to make me completely comfortable and happy. I left confident in his diagnosis and guidelines.
