Jennie Bruning is a provider with Northeast Georgia Physicians Group. She obtained her Master of Science in Nursing degree and clinical education from Walden University and is a board certified Nurse Practitioner, specializing in Psychiatry.
Jennie worked as a registered nurse in the emergency department for almost a decade, with the last five years in the acute behavioral health unit. By prioritizing mental health, Jennie is excited to help NGPG expand its mental health services, including medication management, psychiatric assessments, brief supportive psychotherapy, and referrals to additional community services.
When she’s not at work, she enjoys traveling to new places, going on walks in the park, and spending time with her friends and family.

Jennie went beyond what I expected in providing good care for me. Her sensitivity to my situation and her insights resulted in a Very valuable experience for me. While I lived in the Bay Area in California, I enjoyed the attention of highly skilled medical personnel. But my recent experiences with the care received from Jennie and ALL others in the Northeast Georgia Medical system far exceeds what was available in CA. Congratulations on creating a culture of care that brings peace to my very core. I know that my wellbeing is truly important to all I've interacted with in this medical group. I'm sharing this from 66+ years of experience in hospitals in Alabama, Texas, Utah, Idaho, California, Mexico, Malaysia, and Spain. You're the best.
