Dr. Downer and her staff are the absolute best that I have experienced in all of my years. They made me feel like I was at home. Dr. Downer listened patiently and seemed truly interested in my well-being. None of the staff was off putting in any manner. I truly enjoyed my visit with them.

I haven't had a PCP in a long time and Dr. Downer was so kind and patient. Her and her staff made me feel really comfortable and were extremely attentive. She answered all the questions I had and did a thorough exam to address my concerns. I will definitely be recommending her office to my friends!

Helps and been very helpful

When I moved to Georgia in 2005, I was lucky to find an amazing PCP who cared for me until she changed fields in 2023. Since then, I've struggled to find another physician I could genuinely connect with. I went through three doctors in three years and just couldn't find the right fit.Last month, I heard Dr. Downer speak at a women's conference in Winder. I was already unhappy with my current PCP and looking for someone new-specifically a female doctor who would slow down enough to treat me as a person, not a chart. This first visit with Dr. Downer was meant only to establish care, but I left feeling heard. I could tell she noted the small personal details because they matter to understanding me as a whole person-physically and mentally.Her nurse was wonderful-personable, thorough, and clearly skilled-but I appreciated that Dr. Downer took the time to connect directly. Too often, I've spent more time with nurses than the physician during an annual physical. This visit felt different. I'm genuinely looking forward to building a long-term relationship with Dr. Downer and her team.

Dr K.D was very informative she listened to my concerns and asked me a lot of questions about what I was feeling and going though with the pain I came in to see her about.She even gave me a meal plan to further my health in losing weight and gave me some exercises to do as well.She made me feel very welcome and comfortable.

I am a seasoned woman. I had some personal things happening in my body and the doctor put me at ease when checking me. She was VERY gentle. She talked to me carefully and gave me a prescription for imy personal problem. The difficulty I had experienced is now gone. We talked about my scripts & weight. Something that has been concerning me. The doctor put me at ease. I have told my senior friends about her. I am so pleased to have her as my primary doctor. She is easy to talk to. Great Doctor

From the front office to the back end-and especially the doctor-everyone played a meaningful role in making this experience exceptional. I can count on one hand the times I've received truly outstanding service in my life, and this team at NEGH in Winder is now part of that rare list. I'm so glad I stepped outside my comfort zone and gave them a chance.

This was my first visit with Dr. Downer and I am so glad I got to see her for my care. She is an excellent doctor and I would highly recommend her. Also the medical assistant provided excellent care too.
