About the Provider

Laura Miller never expected a labor and delivery room to change the course of her professional life. But when she welcomed her first child at Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC) in Gainesville, the care her nurses provided sparked a feeling inside her that she’s never been able to shake. Almost a decade and two more kids later, she’s joining that same health system as a family nurse practitioner.

Laura earned her master’s degree in nursing from the University of North Georgia and spent more than four years at Northside Hospital Forsyth’s progressive care unit, where she cared for patients with a wide range of conditions and served as a preceptor for nursing students and new nurses. She also spent time on NGMC Gainesville’s mother-baby unit before training at a few NGPG locations, including NGPG Buford and NGPG OB/GYN.

Now, as a nurse practitioner, Laura is excited to join a primary care office and get the chance to build relationships over an extended time.

Outside of work, Laura and her husband stay busy with their three children. They enjoy hiking, having family movie nights, and attending church. She also loves knitting, crocheting, and running.

I was extremely satisfied with my experience with this provider. She address all of my concerns and personally followed up with a phone call regarding A question that I had after my visit.. The staff in this office are friendly and work with you to get you in as quickly as possible for urgent matters. I feel that both this provider is an exceptional provider. I highly recommend this practice.

Laura Miller is an exceptional PCP. She takes the time to truly listen and never makes you feel rushed during appointments. She explains things clearly, is very thorough, and genuinely cares about her patients' health and well-being. It's rare to find a provider who combines professionalism with such a warm, compassionate approach. I feel very confident having her as my primary care doctor and highly recommend her.
