Merin Varghese, MD

Merin Varghese, MD, is an infectious disease specialist with Northeast Georgia Physicians Group, providing comprehensive care for patients with a wide range of infectious conditions. She earned her medical degree from the Medical University of the Americas and completed her fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Augusta University Medical Center, where she received advanced training in the diagnosis and management of complex infections.

Dr. Varghese treats both common and highly specialized infectious diseases, including respiratory and bloodstream infections, skin and soft tissue infections, urinary tract infections, and chronic viral illnesses such as HIV.
