Sara Thiel, AGACNP

Sara Thiel is a nurse practitioner with Northeast Georgia Physicians Group Neurology. She brings extensive experience in neuroscience and acute care, with a career spanning neurology, neurosurgery, vascular care, stroke navigation, and critical care nursing.

Sara earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama, where she specialized in Adult‑Gerontologic Acute Care. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry‑Biochemistry from the University of Alabama. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she served in progressive leadership roles—including nursing director and nurse manager of neuroscience units—and provided direct patient care as a registered nurse, travel nurse, and flight nurse in high‑acuity neuroscience and trauma settings.

She is committed to delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care and is passionate about helping individuals navigate neurological conditions with confidence.
