Sonia Goel, MD

Dr. Sonia Goel is a board-certified physiatrist with extensive training and experience in physical medicine and rehabilitation. She earned her medical degree (M.B.B.S.) from Sardar Patel Medical College, Rajasthan University in India. Following her medical education, she completed a general surgery internship and a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in New York.

Having served as a research fellow at the Wake Forest Institute of Regenerative Medicine, Dr. Goel has a strong academic medicine and translational research background. Her work has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications and presentations in urology, neurology, and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.

She is board-certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and certified in Advanced and Basic Life Support and ECFMG.

Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spinning, biking, reading, cooking, and outdoor activities.
