Taylor Rives, MD

Taylor Rives, MD, is a gynecologic oncologist with Northeast Georgia Physicians Group, dedicated to providing compassionate, specialized care for patients facing gynecologic cancers.

Originally from Arizona, Dr. Rives earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh, followed by a fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Kentucky.

Her clinical and research interests center on gynecologic oncology, including molecular tumor testing, chemotherapy-related cognitive effects, and disparities in cancer outcomes among Appalachian populations. Dr. Rives has contributed to peer-reviewed publications that advance the understanding and treatment of gynecologic malignancies.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys traveling, indoor gardening and houseplants, crafting, playing board games, and spending time with her dog, Charlie.
