Tia Harrison, LCSW

Tia Harrison is a provider with Northeast Georgia Physicians Group, specializing in behavioral medicine.

Tia has over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults and geriatric populations. She has practiced in various settings such as outpatient mental health clinics, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, in-home and virtually. Tia specializes in anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, anger management issues, trauma, and abuse.

Tia’s approach is eclectic, and as a therapist she will customize therapeutic techniques that best fit with the patient’s overall needs. Tia utilizes a variety of psychotherapy techniques such as Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Client-Centered Therapy. Tia strives to empower and motivate while encouraging patients to have an active role in their therapy.

Tia’s goal is to provide a non-judgmental therapeutic environment to process feelings and explore solutions. Together, Tia and her patients navigate through life’s challenges.
