Ngoc Le, FNP

Ngoc Le still thinks about how her mother would visit her own doctor like clockwork, year after year. But her mom’s type 2 diabetes went uncontrolled, and she died because of a heart attack brought on by its complications. It’s a painful miss that’s stayed with Le ever since, and it's a driving factor for why she went into healthcare.

Ngoc moved to the United States after high school and lived in the Savannah area before moving to Gainesville in 2019, where she began her career as a registered nurse at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. During that time, she earned her master’s degree in nursing from the University of North Georgia and then began working as a family nurse practitioner at a primary care clinic in Buford.

She's fluent in both English and Vietnamese, and appreciates working in a diverse place like Gwinnett County. She feels she's able to connect with a lot of different people and give patients a chance to feel heard and understood when they might not find that elsewhere.

Outside of work, Ngoc stays busy gardening, kayaking, and going for runs at local parks with her dogs, Mocha and Busti.
